Happy New Year's!

Are you aware that 80 percent of people who set New Year Resolutions do not keep them?
What is more surprising is that most people quit on the second Friday of the month in January.
Why do people give up so soon, you might ask?
The reason being most people are not realistic when it comes to goals.
People hardly make room for failure. As soon as things do not go as planned most people give up and complain instead of looking to see how they can implement their goals.  
The Bible says, "I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13
If your goals are in GOD's plan it will happen, and this is why it is important to take everything to THE LORD in prayer. It is not wise to give up a goal because you failed especially if you have not addressed the issue with GOD first. Was there a lesson GOD was trying to teach you in that failure? Could GOD be accomplishing a greater goal through you?
Do not give up your goals unless the HOLY SPIRIT tells you otherwise, and the only way you will know what GOD's will is if you stay connected with HIM through prayer.
